All you need to know about me

Who am I?

My name is Gordon Chapman-Fox – hence Chipshop-Forks – and I love good design.

Good design counts for a lot. It makes your products more attractive. It makes your prose more readable. It makes life easier for your customer to find what they want. It can make your business work for you.

By day I work for a large educational institution and maintain and design a range of their websites. I have been working with websites, web design and graphic design for over 5 years. I know my HTML and my CSS, and I love to use WordPress – the world’s most popular content management system. I have designed websites, record covers, logos and t-shirts for a range of businesses, from a self-employed photographer, an annual village fete, a range of family history courses, and an web-based record label.

By night I provide design work for Fwonk* Records – designing many of their record covers and website – and sometimes masquerade as a musician myself. I make ambient electronic music under the name Heskin Radiophonic, and scuzzy rock ‘n’ roll under the name Stratosonics.

What we can offer

Responsive Design

These days everyone can carry the internet in their pocket, and on all manner of devices. Responsive design lets your site be viewed on everything from a phone, tablet, games console, smart TV and even a computer!

Wordpress is the world's most popular content management system, or CMS. Taking you from blogging to shopping sites, Wordpress can handle it all. This means that you can have a website with a rock-steady, stable environment to handle all of your information.

If you need some inspiration with your entire brand, I can design a modern, stylish logo that will work in many applications - from letterheads to websites, on the screen or on the page, or even on a shop front, t-shirt or mug.

Web Hosting

If you currently don't have a website, and are confused where to begin, I can provide a complete web solution - design and hosting of your website to allow you to concentrate on your business.
